Vehicle Technician Barnsley

We are looking for an experienced Technician to join a busy workshop at Autozone UK Ltd in Barnsley.

  • Providing a professional and thorough service to all customers.
  • Experience is essential and you must have a good understanding of the industry.
  • Ideally you will hold a minimum Level 2 City and Guilds (or equivalent) in Vehicle Repair/ Light Vehicle Maintenance

You will be working on all makes and models, delivering exceptional work ethic.

Duties will include:

  • Inspections
  • Pre-Delivery Inspections
  • Prepping retail vehicles
  • Vehicle Repairs
  • Brakes
  • Tyres
  • Wheel alignment
  • Maintaining the highest quality of workmanship
  • Carrying out all duties in line with company policies
  • Adhere to all Health and Safety requirements
  • Seek advice where necessary
  • Working alone and as a part of a team
  • Industry leading standards
  • Performance reports
  • Appraisals
  • Workshop team player

You must:

  • Have a proven track record as a fast fitter
  • Have a keen eye for detail
  • Be precise
  • Ensure every job is done to the highest standard
  • Work well under pressure
  • Have excellent communication skills

This position has an immediate start for the correct candidate.

Motor trade experience required.

Shift pattern:

Monday to Friday: 8am - 5pm

Saturdays: 8am - 2pm
